About Us
We are Katie & Jen of Hedge & Fox! We are two 30 somethings who have been best friends since we were about 14 years old. We’ve traveled the world together, lived together, and now we are bringing you our handmade, custom designed jewelry together!
We have a passion to make jewelry for every woman - from the one looking to feel trendy and like a chic fashionista to the "I'm not sure what to wear today, or ever…" person staring at her closet blankly. We think either of those can be the same woman, just on different days - so we make jewelry to live up to either challenge. Our products can go from day to night with ease and pair with any outfit. We also make sure our earrings don't annoy your precious skin by always choosing nickel-free ear hooks, clip-ons and studs (ask our customers – they’re amazed and can finally wear a pair of earrings all day long without experiencing any irritation whatsoever)!
We have a passion to help raise awareness and funding in the fight to end human trafficking. We support a foundation which is set on furthering the medical conversation and research regarding women's health, and another local ministry which helps youth who have aged out of the foster care system gain life skills and employment opportunities. We give 10% of all proceeds to one of these three important causes. Check out Our Mission Page for more details about the organizations we support.
Jen works full time and is also a full time mom of two gorgeous kids and a wife to one hunk of a man. Katie is a 911 dispatcher who enjoys crafting, baking, and spending time with her boyfriend and pup Stella. Other than jewelry-making, our specialties divvy up as follows: Jen is a communications and process consultant; a photographer; skilled in working with felt, paper crafts, hand lettering, and drawing; our graphic designer; and loves making anything she can mold into something original and amazing! Katie is a crochet wizard, our tech person, an amazingly good baker, and all around crafting queen. That baking tho - she may throw some of the best cookie recipes EVER at ya around Christmas time! We both love Jesus, family, friends, puppies, food, and wine - faith, family, and friends are what keep us grounded and make life beautiful.
